As
Brandy works along side Katherine Preston to achieve her goals,
Mike Williscraft,
Scott Rosts and
Katherine Nadeau continue with their efforts to affect permanent lifestyle change, some with more success than others.
My biggest challenge by far has been making me a priority, and I am failing miserably at that! says Katherine with five weeks left on the White Oaks Precision Nutrition portion of the journey. My trainer Colleen has been encouraging and helpful in this regard. Also the cooking demonstrations at White Oaks have been really helpful. I consider myself a pretty good cook but never tried fennel with apples to make slaw for example or egg white omelets, healthy choices but really tasty too.
While the weight isn't falling off as I would like it to, I am definitely off to a strong start and saw a two per cent reduction in body fat percentage within the first six weeks, says Scott. The mixture of a great, and evolving training program with my trainer Sandra, her nutrition guidance, and the White Oaks seminars and cooking demos, have already given me a much different outlook on eating and exercise.
I think it is safe to say we have left a lot of sweat at White Oaks in a short amount of time, but we all recognize there is still lots of work to do. Really, we're about six weeks in, says Mike.
The variety of things to do at the gym is great to look forward to on days you don't really want to go. I try to stick in one new thing every visit while following through on the program my trainer, Darius, set out for me. Did I mention I now hate medicine balls?
