Niagara-on-the-Lake Santa Claus Parade. Hailed as one of Ontario's best Santa Claus Parades, the annual event through Old Town starts at 11 a.m. It is presented by the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and features bands, community groups and more. For information, call 905-468-4261.

Dec. 17
Fort George's Holiday Celebration at Navy Hall in Niagara-on-the-Lake. A family holiday event that features activities, crafts, games, refreshments and musket demonstrations. Free entry with a non-perishable food donation or monetary donation for Newark Neighbours. Runs from 1 to 4 p.m. at 305 Ricardo St.
