The fantasies begin in the darkest days of winter, and continue to grow as spring approaches; women are dreaming of summertime destinations. However, one does not need to travel to experience the sought after escapes of the season. The essence of the beach, the garden, and other luxurious locations can be captured in a fashionista's very own wardrobe.
The warmth of sand on naked feet, the lull of lazy tides, and the seamless sunsets that illuminate the sky are among the unique pleasures of the beach. However, the seaside offers more than soothing sounds and scenic horizons this season. Trendsetters are scouting the shore for unique treasures to inspire and add to summer collections. The whimsical rising and falling of waves has inspired clothing that flows in the same graceful manner, such as maxi skirts and dresses. These articles, characterized by hems that sweep the ankles, are most sought after in floral print or a subtle ombre fade. Softly ruffled garments are also widely desired imitations of rippling water. However, the most eye-catching pieces of the season are accessories that have been uncovered on shore. Shells, pearls, oysters and starfish are appearing as embellishments and jewelry. One may remain true to a classic strand of pearls, or dare to fix a starfish pin in her hair. The hottest trend inspired by the seaside is the conch purse, which a tiny handbag in the shape of a twisted shell a must-have for every collection. While walking on the shore this summer, be sure to search for treasures that can inspire and add to a beachy wardrobe.
Many summer mornings are spent in the garden, where white fences are woven with greenery and bright blossoms compete for a spot in the sunlight. Fashionistas are also striving to rise above the bunch for a moment in the light this season. Flowers are popping up on many summer garments- quite literally. Floral print is no longer the limit for wearing pretty petals. Ruffled embellishments and appliqué floral designs allow three-dimensional bouquets to grow from wardrobes. Peplum pieces that imitate the shape of tulips also allow trendsetters to wear flowers in a whole new way. While enjoying the scenery of the plants, one may top off their look with an oversized gardening hat. These hats must have floppy brims and can be decorated with bows, feathers and of course, more flowers. In gardens and clothing shops alike, ladies are picking abundant bouquets this season.
The sand of the volleyball court will soon be trodden down by the feet of sporty females, much like the grass of soccer fields and stones of hiking trails. Athletic arenas, tracks, and fields are among the most popular destinations in the summer season. However, the neon workout gear and oversized gym bags will travel beyond these designated areas. Sports fans are encouraged to wear sleek track pants and jackets in bright shades during their daily routine. Exposed zippers, modern mesh and drawstrings act as embellishments, separating ordinary workout gear from high fashion ensembles. The athletic look is not complete without a large gym bag or backpack, and of course, technicolour sunglasses. Whether one is sweating it out on the playing field or enjoying a hot summer day, fashionistas can finally feel sexy in comfortable workout gear.
A creature slithers toward its prey, unseen beneath matted grass and protruding roots. It is unclear what else may lurk below, or in the labyrinth of branches above. That is why only the most daring fashion followers are entering the jungle this season. The tribal look includes pieces in brave patterns, such as brightly coloured abstract designs and geometric shapes. However, in situations where it is necessary to camouflage, tan and gold materials stand as substitutions. Feathered accessories add an exotic element to any outfit, whether they hang from earlobes or strands of hair. Chunky beads and braids can also be added to your locks to enhance the tribal vibe. However, these adornments alone are not enough to complete a look inspired by the eclecticism of the jungle. Chunky cuffs and rings fashioned from wood and metal should decorate the arms. Wooden wedges and rustic coloured strappy sandals will tie the earthy outfit together. Those who cannot brave the jungle this summer can still experience the tribal vibe with their very own wardrobe.
Whether or not this season finds a fashionista in an exotic jungle or at the relaxing seaside, the styles of the season will allow women to escape to their dream destination. So wear that workout gear in the garden and brave the tribal trend at the beach, knowing that wherever this summer leads you, you will arrive in style.
