Back to basics...

I've realized that over the past few weeks I was neglecting an important part of my workout.
In the rush to get showered and start my day, I have been skipping my core exercises - pushups, planks, bird dogs etc.
I think as I watched the clock, I started to not even give a second thought about heading out of the gym without doing them - at least until I realized it on Tuesday.
Core exercises train the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips andabdominal  to work in harmony. This leads to better balance and stability and also strengthen and tones your frame.
I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do many given its been some time since I did a proper core workout. I still managed to get through it, though, with an appropriate number for the respective workouts, which was a good feeling.
Another spin class under my belt... went well, and I am now determined to find one that fits my timing at White Oaks. It appears they have one Friday at 6 a.m.... what better could you be doing early on a Friday morning than torturing yourself with a spin class?
